This Policy in brief What we use. A small number of strictly necessary cookies (security and remembering your cookie choices) and, with your consent where the law requires it, Google Analytics cookies that help us understand how the Site is used. 1. About this Policy
1.1 This Cookie Policy explains how Plaee Along Ltd. ("Plaee", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.plaee.com and its subdomains (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy (www.plaee.com/company/privacy-policy), which explains how we handle personal information collected through cookies and otherwise, and with our Website Terms of Use.
1.2 Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer or mobile device when you visit it. We also use similar technologies, such as pixels, tags, scripts and local storage; in this Policy we refer to all of them as "cookies". Cookies set by Plaee are "first-party" cookies; cookies set by our service providers are "third-party" cookies. "Session" cookies expire when you close your browser; "persistent" cookies remain on your device for the period shown in the table below or until you delete them.
2. The cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies. These cookies are required for the Site to function and to keep it secure. They include the cookies set by Cloudflare, which protects the Site against malicious traffic and bots, and the cookie set by our consent-management tool that records the choices you make in our cookie banner, so that we do not ask you again (retained for 12 months). Because the Site cannot operate properly without them, these cookies do not require consent and cannot be switched off in our cookie settings, although you can block them in your browser (see Section 3).
2.2 Analytics cookies. These cookies are set by Google Analytics, which we deploy through Google Tag Manager, and help us understand how visitors use the Site – for example which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, what type of device and browser they use and roughly where they are located – so that we can improve the Site and its content. The data collected is aggregated for our reporting, and IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. Google acts as our service provider for this purpose; information about how Google uses data from sites that use its services is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Analytics cookies are set only after you have given your consent, where the law requires consent.
2.3 Marketing cookies. We do not currently use cookies for advertising, retargeting or the tracking of your activity across other websites. If we introduce such cookies in the future, they will be added to the table in Section 4, will require your prior consent where the law requires it, and this Policy will be updated.
2.4 Embedded content and links. Pages on the Site may contain links to, or embed content from, third-party services such as our partners' websites, X (Twitter), LinkedIn or a video platform. Those third parties may set their own cookies when you interact with their content or follow a link to their site; we do not control those cookies, and their use is governed by the relevant third party's own cookie and privacy policies.
3. Your choices
3.1 Cookie banner and settings. When you first visit the Site from a location where consent is required, a banner allows you to accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or customise your choices by category. You can change your choices at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of the Site. Where consent is not legally required, the banner informs you of our use of cookies and offers the same controls.
3.2 Global Privacy Control and browser signals. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by your browser as a rejection of all non-essential cookies.
3.3 Browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Instructions are usually available in the browser's help menu. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the Site may not work properly.
3.4 Google Analytics opt-out. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on any website by installing Google's browser add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
4. Cookie table
The following table lists the cookies currently in use on the Site. It is generated and kept up to date automatically by our consent-management tool; the live version displayed in the cookie settings panel prevails over this printed version in case of any difference.

5. Personal information and retention
5.1 Some cookies collect information that may be personal information, such as IP addresses and online identifiers. That information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Data collected through Google Analytics is retained in our analytics account for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically; the cookies themselves expire after the periods shown in the table above.
6. Changes to this Policy
6.1 We may update this Policy from time to time, for example when we add or remove cookies or when the law changes. The revised Policy will be posted on the Site with an updated "Last updated" date, and where a change requires your renewed consent the cookie banner will be shown again.
